G.I.G. - Growth In God
These small groups consist of 8-12 adults meeting in homes approximately every 2 weeks for fellowship, prayer and Bible-centered discussions. Groups are diverse and open to all adults--couples and singles!

Each group has a designated leader that is responsible for facilitating discussions and coordinating group activities. Multiple GIG Groups currently meet in various locations around Effingham and the surrounding areas.  Participants are asked to commit to regular attendance. Participating in a group is a great opportunity to make friends and pursue spiritual growth!

New Hope Nursery
The New Hope Nursery strives to provide a safe, caring environment for children birth to 18 months while their parents or guardians attend worship services and Sunday School.  Our goal is to demonstrate Jesus' love to the children and their families each and every week.  We have a structured system to "check-in” and “check-out" the children; this procedure provides information about each child's needs and to whom each child belongs.  With these details on file, we have the ability to reach a child's parent or guardian at any time, if needed.

S.U.R.G.E.

It is not easy being a junior high student. Peer pressure, school work, busy schedules and difficult decisions are enough to drive anyone crazy.
SURGE is a place where youth can meet and share their current issues.  Each student has the opportunity to hear a message that relates to them personally and challenges them to live life passionately for God.

SURGE meets on Sunday morning at the Oneighty facility on N. Route 45. Students meet at New Hope to be transported from there. Buses will be loaded and ready at 9:30 am, to depart at 9:35. They will return by 11:05, right before the 11:15am worship service.
